Time to take a quick look at how the Winnipeg Jets prospects are doing since our last edition.
Note: The statistics separated by month are by which article they fall into rather than the date of the game.
2009 7th Round: LW Jordan Samuels-Thomas; 15GP, 8G, 6A, 14PTS, +11, 20PIM, 58 SOG
Month | GP | G | A | PTS | +/- | PIM | SOG |
October | 7 | 3 | 3 | 6 | +2 | 10 | 24 |
November | 8 | 5 | 3 | 8 | +9 | 10 | 34 |
Samuels-Thomas has continued to build upon his strong start – scoring a point in every game except one for the month of November. He currently is tied for 5th in goals, 2nd in +/-, 7th in power-play goals and 4th in shots on goal for the ECAC. He also tied for 28th in points and 13th for goals in the NCAA.

2010 6th Round: C Tanner Lane; 11GP, 3G, 0A, 3PT, +1, 4PIM, 10 SOG
Month | GP | G | A | PTS | +/- | PIM | SOG |
October | 3 | 1 | 0 | 1 | +1 | 0 | 3 |
November | 8 | 2 | 0 | 2 | +0 | 4 | 7 |
Lane has already surpassed his paltry 2 goals in 31 games last season. He's also seemed to have earned himself a regular spot on the game day roster. If he continues put up a shot per game as a regular we should see some more offensive numbers as those assists normalize (you gotta pick up an assist for touching the puck sometimes right?), but his goal scoring will likely fall as he's currently shooting at 30%.

2010 7th Round: LD Peter Stoykewych; 11GP, 0G, 1A, 1PTS, 10PIM, 11 SOG
Month | GP | G | A | PTS | +/- | PIM | SOG |
October | 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | +1 | 4 | 3 |
November | 7 | 0 | 1 | 1 | -4 | 6 | 8 |
Last time we predicted some points for Stoykewych, but he's only picked up a single assist thus far. Stoykewych is second in the team for shots on goal by defensemen (his defensive partner Gustav Olofsson beating him by a single shot) and has seen some substantial power play time, so we should expect a more dramatic increase in offense in time.

Serville still seems to be struggling to produce offensively while continuing to trend downward. Kevin Cheveldayoff traded up to select the once promising defensemen who is still having difficulty transitioning to the college level.

2011 6th Round: G Jason Kasdorf; 2 GP, 34 SA, 0.786 SV%
Kasdorf was expected to take on the starter role for RPI in his sophomore year; this was to be a pinnacle moment for his future development. As noted last time, Kasdorf had a strong opener, only to falter in his second game. Since then he has suffered a shoulder injury and it appears he will be out for the remainder of the season.

2011 7th Round: LD Aaron Harstad; 11GP, 0G, 1A, 1PTS, -8, 4PIM, 7 SOG

October | 4 | 0 | 1 | 1 | -4 | 4 | 3 |
November | 7 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -4 | 0 | 4 |
Stoykewych's teammate Harstad hasn't produced any offense since our last update. Harstad is a more "stay-at-home" type and plays a lot on the penalty kill, although his hard shot does give him the occasional power play usage.

2012 5th Round: G Connor Hellebuyck; 9 GP, 285 SA, 0.951 SV%
Month | GP | SA | SV% |
October | 4 | 114 | 0.939 |
November | 5 | 171 | 0.959 |
In his last five games, only one has been below a 0.900 save percentage, with the remaining four above 0.915. Two of these games have been shutouts, bringing Hellebuyck's collegiate career shutout totals to eight, two games more than the amount of regulation loses he's sustained. For his strong play Hellebuyck has been honoured with sharing the Hockey-East player of the week title. Hellebuyck is now second in all of the NCAA for save percentage.

Month | GP | SA | SV% |
October | 2 | 55 | 0.855 |
November | 2 | 42 | 0.905 |
Phillips is still playing the role of backup and continuing his trend of one good game plus one bad game a month. Fellow sophomore for Michigan Tech goaltender Pheonix Copley has taken the starting job and is hovering around 19th in NCAA save percentage, so it is unlikely we see Phillips playing a large number of games.

October | 6 | 2 | 4 | 6 | +0 | 2 | 11 |
November | 5 | 5 | 1 | 6 | +3 | 4 | 15 |
Copp sits one point behind Samuels-Thomas and is tied for 20th in NCAA points. He leads the Big 10 in goals per game, although being about ten shots on goal behind most players in that range doesn't suggest it will persist.

2013 5th Round: RD Tucker Poolman; 18 GP, 5G, 8A, 13 PTS, +9, 6PIM, 32 SOG (USHL)
Month | GP | G | A | PTS | +/- | PIM | SOG |
October | 10 | 3 | 3 | 6 | +6 | 4 | 15 |
November | 8 | 2 | 5 | 7 | +3 | 2 | 17 |
Poolman continues his strong play in the USHL. He currently sits in second place for both defensive points and defensive goals. Last year there were concerns that his production may have been inflated due to power play success with 12 of his 14 goals and 7 of his 14 assists coming from the man advantage. The points are still slanted with power play production (three goals and four assists), but he has already reached his even strength goal totals from last season.
