The Winnipeg Jets have had a slightly easier stretch of games over the past week. Considering they’ve been facing some stiff competition for most of March, the break couldn’t be timed any better. The Jets continue the softer run with another game against the Sens. They did nearly blow a 4-1 lead against this Ottawa squad on the last outing, but it wasn’t like the Sens were good. The Jets shot themselves in the foot a few too many times.
Regardless of how this game ends, all eyes are on Winnipeg’s roster. The Jets have made it clear they’re shopping, and the trade deadline will be the last chance to make a roster move. Most of the guys I wanted the Jets to pass on have been claimed by other teams. The deadline names remaining are, for the most part, pretty good quality additions. Let’s hope Chevy can bring in some mobile backend help for cheap.
