This story has already been written before. The first time it was written featured multiple bad jerseys, but this time we are all Winnipeg Jets all the time. No need to burn our eyes out with the Atlanta Thrashers when the Jets have a bad jersey themselves:
THE AVIATOR JERSEY
The Aviator Jerseys are not a bad jersey, but they have a bad record in the eyes of Jets fans because their win-loss record is seen as bad (not that I can find stats on this so…). The jerseys are also really basic. They have a stylized version of “Jets” on the front and nothing else. There was a version someone found online that has “Winnipeg” in the “s” tail, but that is not on the jersey.
The Thrashers jerseys that were bad were just bad. The colours were dull or unique in a bad way. The logo also did no favours to them. Bit the aviator jerseys are the jersey that has so much potential and then just fall flat with boring.
If the Jets wanted to make these jerseys better, they would add in a couple more details. The colour is unique without being the ugly powder blue that Atlanta had. The socks have a weird extra stripe at the bottom of them, but it isn’t the worst thing in the world.
As for the Jets best jerseys? That is coming up today or tomorrow.
