Centre Matt Stajan, who last played in the NHL for Calgary, has retired from pro hockey. Drafted in the second round, 57th overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Stajan has 413 points (146G, 267A) in 1003 games, as well as four points (1G, 3A) in 17 playoff games, for Toronto (2002/03-partway through 2009/10) and Calgary (partway through 2009/10-2017/18). Stajan posted career highs of 57 points and 19 goals with Toronto and Calgary in 2010, and 40 assists in 2009 with Toronto. In his last NHL season, Stajan scored 12 poitns (4G, 8A) in 68 games for Calgary. In his last pro season, Stajan, 35, scored 33 points in 52 games for Munich of the DEL.
