Arctic Ice Hockey Wants You!

Do you not like the writing on this site and think you can improve it? Do you love hockey and want to shout it out to the world? Do you think that Tyler Myers Experiment should continue? If you answer yes to any of these questions, we want you! We also want you if you love hockey, not just Jets hockey and want to write about it.

If you are still interested, here’s what you need to do within the next week:

  1. Write a short article, minimum 150 words, about hockey. Jets, NHL, AHL, Europe, junior, women’s, it does not matter.
  2. Attach that sample article onto an email to carataih@yahoo.ca (I am finally on top of my emails and will be responding.
  3. Set up an account at AIH because we need more writers period and if your writing does not take too much editing (meaning grammar etc. is strong), you will be invited to write for us.

Please note we cannot pay you and you can write at your free will. If you have views that oppose ones that you have seen expressed on this blog and are not sure if this is the write platform for you, you would be mistaken. As long as you can back up your argument, it is good. This is not an academic site or a newspaper. Multiple opinions are valued, but we need those different opinions need to want to write for us.

If you identify as a minority and are worried about being attacked on the internet for your opinions, we can help protect you by not attaching your social media and allowing you a safe place with people moderating comments for you.

Truth is, we have had a lot of turnover over the past few years and we need more writers. Whether you are a critical fan like me (I am like this about everything with my mind going a mile a minute) or someone who loves everything the Jets does, your opinion matters and we want you to share it. Diversity is strength and that includes diversity of opinion.
