This is it. The big one. The game that decides who is better; Ben Chiarot or Nikita Zaitsev. In all honesty, this is a big game. The Jets will be facing a very deep Leafs team that has been struggling lately. They are no longer scoring on 75% of their shots and it shows. They have Auston Matthews, John Tavares, Mitch Marner, and friends. They also have Nikita Zaitsev, Ron Hainsey, and friends. The Leafs are a team of extremes.

The Jets are possibly going with some new-look lines that I wholly approve of. Separating Kyle Connor from Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele allows for the Jets to see what he can be without two of their best players on the ice and it allows for a different look from that line with Patrik Laine having a different style of offence from Connor. The Lowry line will stay intact and nothing has been said about the fourth line, but they are struggling. The fourth line has players that are used to playing a regular shift and they are not getting that now. So when they do get a shift, they try to do something and end up taking a penalty. You can tell they are frustrated and don’t know what to do.

Outside of that and the fact that the Maple Leafs left side on defence is extremely questionable at best, the Jets and Leafs should be a good game. If anything, everyone will forget about defence and score at will and we know that is always fun.
