GDT: Winnipeg Jets at Calgary Flames

Travel day before Turkey Day so there was no preview today. The Winnipeg Jets lost their first game 7-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs and are looking for a much better performance tonight against the Calgary Flames.

The Flames have added an exciting, new player in Jaromir Jagr who is looking to light the league on fire and is playing for his first Canadian team. He will be joined by such stars as Johnny (Hockey) Gaudreau and Dougie Hamilton.

On the Jets side, Nic Petan has been inserted into the lineup after an opening night scratch. Look for him to make an impact on the powerplay where he helped tear the Flames apart in preseason action.

Not much is known about the Jets lines as cell phone service is terrible for long stretches of a drive back to Winnipeg, but expect fairly consistent lines and defence pairings from the first game with hopefully better results.
