RECAP: Jets return from the road trip victorious, beat Rangers 4-1

New, comments

In the final game of the four game season opening road trip, the Winnipeg Jets pound the rangers 4-1.

Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets finished off their four game season opening road trip with a win, bringing their total to three. Not bad considering there were two back to backs.

Ten thoughts or questions

1) Welcome to the show Nikolaj Ehlers. Daniel called it.

2) Speaking of Ehlers, he leads the league in shots among rookies.  Up there among all skaters too.

3) Why would the NHL even consider expansion? The problem is not the quality of the players, it is the quality of the referees

4) Since when is getting your stick lifted a penalty?

5) Just how did Burmistrov miss that shot?

6) Top of the Central baby!

7) Bryan Little continues with his domination in short handed goals.

8) Mark Stuart must have a wild golf drive, that looked like a bunker shot all day long.

9) Michael Hutchinson looked solid in net all game long. Goaltending is looking like a real asset this season.

10) They really have to work on getting the shots against down.

Up next: Calgary at the home opener on Friday.
