Only two games on tonight. That's what happens late in a round. Not much overlap either, as the start times are two hours apart.

  • The Ottawa Senators, also known as Canada's only remaining hope for a Stanley Cup winning team this year, can close out the series tonight in the nation's capital as they have a 3-2 series edge over the New York Rangers.
  • The Phoenix Coyotes once again look for their first playoff series win since 1987, when the team was still in Winnipeg and I wasn't even born. The Chicago Blackhawks will look to keep that streak going as they attempt to win on home ice at the United Center for the first time this series, as phoenix took games 3 and 4. If I had to bet, I would say this one goes to overtime. The first 5 games did.
