Here is what's in the news for Monday, November 5, 2012:

Mark Scheifele snuck back into the OHL's top five scorers after another hat trick performance, this time against the Sault Greyhounds. He also added an assist in the Colts' 5-4 overtime win. [Yahoo! Sports]

Jacob Trouba didn’t dress for the Michigan Wolverines Saturday night as he was suspended for an illegal hit to the head in Friday’s action. Michigan took both games against Northern Michigan. [GoBlue.com]
