This little GIF accurately summarizes me trying to stay positive as a Winnipeg Jets blog writer…

The Jets mounted a comeback, but it was too little too late, as they dropped a 5-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night. 4 goals against in the first 5 minutes of the game is tough to come back from. But the Jets rallied and made it interesting. The “Matthews March” continues. For interest’s sake, here is the NHL Lottery Simulator, which give you the standings and the odds on favorite to win the first overall pick in the 2016 draft. Also, here’s the link to the ISS Hockey Top 30 Ranked Prospects for this this summer’s draft, and the TSN Tradecentre page. Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd’s trade value seemed to be in check with their performances last night. Click away to your hearts content. Comments and your findings are welcome at the bottom of this post. Onwards and upwards to Denver, where the Jets will play the Colorado Avalanche Saturday night. The Avs are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss against the Dallas Stars Thursday night and currently hold down a playoff wildcard spot.

Player to boo, jeer and sneer at:

The Coach Patrick Roy loves the attention.
