Dustin Byfuglien May or May Not be Extremely Overweight

Dustin Byfugilen's weight is being called into question again.

Earlier today, a photo of Dustin Byfuglien attending the July 13th wedding of Chicago Blackhawks forward Dave Bolland appeared online.

At the 5:21 mark of the wedding slideshow captured by Jai Girard Photography, Byfuglien is seen standing next to Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook, looking like he just went HAM on the buffet table.

More pictures depicting Byfuglien's festive plumpness were released in August as he entered a Minneapolis courtroom to face charges on a boating while impaired charge, of which he was acquitted.

Questions of Byfuglien's commitment to conditioning have been lobbed about the city over the past year; entirely appropriate considering he rakes in 5MM+ a season while playing over 24 minutes in TOI on an average night for a team that desperately needs him to be a difference maker.

While it's evident that not every NHL hockey player will have the body of an Adonis, this photo of Byfuglien has him looking like he's on the plus-side of obesity.

We have also been passed along this post-wedding photo of Byfuglien that was posted to Instragram by Andrew Ladd during their latest fishing trip, showing a much leaner version of the hulking defenseman.

Should camp start on time, it will be interesting to see what the man they call "Big Buff" weighs in at.

Kudos to @dlamhabs and @ikcotol for passing along both links.
