The Winnipeg Jets and Boston Bruins are playing for the second and final time this season, this time in Boston. The Jets are in their last stretch of games before they get their week off for the All Star Game. The Bruins are first in the East, proving that they are fine without Patrice Bergeron. They have been one of the most consistent teams in the NHL for years and just keep going. It is impressive.

Mark Schiefele is still skating in a non-contact jersey for the Jets. He does not seem like he was truly day to day and was always going to be out for longer than a game. It isn’t a bad thing per say, but it does beg the question of if the Jets were being honest with his initial diagnosis.

The Jets appear to be starting Connor Hellebuyck. While we have talked about Hellebuyck needing some rest, these are not the games you rest him in. This game is going to be a tough one for the Jets with their injuries up front especially at centre. They will have a hard time matching up against the Bruins, but that does not mean this game is a loss. Stranger things have happened.
