The last time the Winnipeg Jets played the Washington Capitals, Alexander Ovechkin showed the kid, Patrik Laine, that he was still the GOAT when it came to goal scoring. This year, Laine is struggling to score at five on five as are the rest of the Jets. However, they are still fifth in the NHL and early season points in the bank are important and the Jets have them in spades.
The Capitals got off to a bit of a slow start after parting ways with their head coach over a contract dispute and a summer of celebrating FINALLY winning the Stanley Cup. Anyways, here are the rosters:
