The Winnipeg Jets and Tampa Bay Lightning are playing tonight in Winnipeg. The Jets are coming off of two big wins against the Minnesota Wild while the Lightning are coming off of a win against the Montreal Canadiens. The Jets will continue to be without Kyle Connor who is out with a knee injury.
The Lightning may be welcoming Conor Sheary back to the lineup, but the might also be one player short due to cap issues and health issues. It will be interesting to see how many players will suit up. And before this becomes a whole topic of discussion, I remember this being a thing way back when the Calgary Flames were making a late season playoff push and could only ice 15 players due to cap and injury issues. There was nothing done then and won’t be anything done now.
