Well, the Winnipeg Jets will be starting life without Kyle Connor this evening as they take on the San Jose Sharks. As a result of that injury, Rick Bowness & company had to juggle the forward lines up a bit and the biggest jump goes to Morgan Barron. The fourth liner makes the leap up to the second to take Gabe Vilardi’s wing spot, while the former LA King moves up to join Mark Scheifele & Nik Ehlers on the top unit. Speedy Alex Jonsson-Fjallby comes out of the pressbox and will take Barron’s spot on the fourth line. The coaches weren’t done yet, as they also re-inserted Nate Schmidt back on the third pairing and will go with back up goaltender Laurent Brossoit.

The San Jose Sharks are still missing some key players due to injury, but the Jets shouldn’t take them lightly as they seem to be playing well lately.
