The Winnipeg Jets are entering this COVID protocol world with a rescheduled game from May 7 against the Ottawa Senators. This time-travelling game should be good fun for all involved and should make us all smile when it comes to sports. However, it does mean that the Jets are playing a one-off game in the midst of a baseball-style schedule and it is weird and almost unsettling. It feels too close to normal to be right and I don’t particularly like it.
