Restricted free-agents Andrew Copp and Neal Pionk have elected for salary arbitration with the Winnipeg Jets, the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) announced Friday afternoon.

Salary Arbitration hearings will be held in Toronto from July 20 to Aug. 4, 2019. The deadline for Club-Elected Salary Arbitration notification is July 6, 2019 at 5 p.m. ET.

UPDATE: Copp’s meeting is scheduled for July 21st, Pionk’s for July 24th.

Copp and Pionk were two of three Jets players who could elect for salary arbitration. Eric Comrie was the third, but elected not to, though the Jets may choose to do so tomorrow.

All sides will still be able to negotiate contracts before the meeting date. Five Jets players (Jacob Trouba, Connor Hellebuyck, Brandon Tanev, Adam Lowry and Marko Dano) elected for arbitration last off-season, but all but Trouba avoided the hearing by signing beforehand.
