Cameron Schilling Sent to Manitoba Moose

With the return of Nathan Beaulieu, the veteran was able to be returned to the minors.

The Winnipeg Jets sent Cameron Schilling down to the Manitoba Moose this morning, as the team’s defensive depth was bolstered by the return of Nathan Beaulieu from injury.

Schilling was called up on November 30, but did not see any NHL game action. Schilling has 11 points in 22 games with the Manitoba Moose so far this year. The 31-year-old appeared in four games with the Jets last season, registering one assist, while playing in 64 games with the Moose, scoring six times and adding 23 helpers.

As Schilling had cleared waivers prior to the start of the season, and hadn’t been on an NHL roster for 30 days or played 10 NHL games, he did not have to be placed on waivers this time around.
