The Winnipeg Jets are preparing for the second game of a seven game home stand. Tonight they will be playing the Chicago Blackhawks who used to be their mortal enemies, but are now closer to a nuisance to the Central Division. This is what has become of the Hawks and it was their own doing.
The Jets have made a surprising lineup change for this game by choosing to sit Ville Heinola. While Heinola struggled against the Minnesota Wild, there is no reason not to give him another game to keep on working into the NHL schedule and style of play.
