Preview and GDT: Winnipeg Jets versus Ottawa Senators

New, comments

A day late and a dollar short for this GDT.

NHL: Winnipeg Jets at Toronto Maple Leafs John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Winnipeg Jets are playing the Ottawa Senators tonight in Ottawa on TSN3. They will be facing off against Erik Karlsson, Matt Duchene, and the Senators in a game that is two teams being highly unbalanced in competition. The Jets are by far superior and therefore they need to dominant.

Good news is we get to listen to Gord Miller and Mike Johnston on TSN as they have been calling many games in the Eastern region for TSN. We might even get bless with them again tomorrow night.

Outside of that, the Jets have called up Sami Niku who will not play tonight along with Dustin Byfuglien. This means that Tucker Poolman is back in the lineup and the D pairings have changed around again.

Craig Anderson started for the Sens and Connor Hellebuyck stated for the Jets. We can expect to see Steve Mason tomorrow night when the Jets take on the Habs at the Bell Centre.
