GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs San Jose Sharks

Time: 9:30 PM CST

TV: TSN3

Radio: TSN 1290

Introduction:

The Winnipeg Jets play game two of their three game Western road trip tonight against the San Jose Sharks. This is one of those games where good teams demonstrate that they have a short memory, forget about the disappointing game Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings, and get back to playing the type of hockey they are capable of. Fans and hockey writers from a variety of sources agree that the Jets biggest hurdle to overcome at this point is the play of Connor Hellebuyck. He’s been average this season, which for a player with his talent level, and a team with high expectations, is just not good enough. The Sharks are hot as of late having won five games in a row. This will be a tough game for the Jets, but one where I expect them to play to the level of their opponent and steal a win.
