Enemy Blog: All About the Jersey

The Winnipeg Jets are back in action against the New Jersey Devils and they are once again playing a fairly depleted lineup. Both Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Copp remain sidelined with concussions. While there is nothing that the Jets can do about this, they do miss both players and are already looking forward to their return. Copp is also skating with the team.

The Jets will have Sami Niku and Cameron Schilling on defence. While the New Jersey Devils are still the same team that made the playoffs last season, they have been struggling to replicate that play. It probably does not help that Taylor Hall would have to be a god again for them to repeat last year.

The Winnipeg Jets have also been struggling to return to last season’s form. More and more people have been pointing out that Connor Hellebuyck has been struggling and it is very hard to not notice how the Jets play when they are facing a top team from the league. Games that they used to shine in are no longer there. Both teams are looking to make the playoffs, but it will be closer for them than they want it to be.
