Brendan Lemieux called up; Tucker Poolman sent to the Manitoba Moose

The Winnipeg Jets have made a pair of roster moves today after Tobias Enstrom returned from injury and Adam Lowry got banged up. They have sent Tucker Poolman to the AHL where he will be able to play a lot and continue to develop.

They have also called up Brendan Lemieux. This move might be in light of Adam Lowry picking up a nick Friday against the Buffalo Sabres and not being able to play on Sunday, leaving the Jets without a forward in the press box. It is going to be interesting if Jack Roslovic continues to play and Lemieux takes over press box duties or if another player starts getting scratched. It would be frustrating if the two young players who need playing time to develop are not being played because of players like Shawn Matthias, who are good guys, but not as talented as Roslovic especially.

The Jets have one more week until their bye week. At that point all call ups will return to the AHL for the week and hopefully they will not have to return as more players will have returned to health.
