Preview & GDT: Winnipeg Jets at San Jose Sharks

Time: 9:30 PM CST

Channel: TSN3, NBCSCA

Radio: TSN1290

In another classic remake of West Side Story, the Jets and the Sharks will once again breakdance fight their way towards hockey supremacy.

For those of you not up to date on your Broadway musicals, the Winnipeg Jets (28-13-7) square off against the San Jose Sharks (26-14-6) in the rubber match of their three game season series. The home team has been victorious in each game this season, with the Sharks blanking the Jets 4-0 in San Jose before Winnipeg exacted revenge to a 4-1 tune in their own barn.

The Jets are coming off of a pair of wins in a back to back set after their bye week that saw them beat the Flames and Canucks on consecutive nights. The Jets are currently riding a streak of four games where they only score one goal in regulation time, but superior goaltending means they’ve gone 2-2-0 in those games.

This two game road trip will be the last time the boys ni polar night blue will need their luggage for a while, as following it comes a span of ten straight home games, with zero back-to-backs in there. I’m sure Connor Hellebuyck and his terrific numbers on home ice are smiling about that.

Adam Lowry will miss his seventh consecutive game, as he took the morning skate with a non-contact jersey.

San Jose are winner of five of their last six, including two straight in which they defeated Pittsburgh then Anaheim. Aaron Dell saved 64 of 67 shots in those contests as he fills in for the injured Martin Jones.

Will the Sharks outdance the Jets?

Will the WiFi be any good at the Jets’ hotel?

Tune in this evening! Same Jets time (9:30 PM CST), Same Jets channel (TSN 3)!
