Preview and GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs. Vancouver Canucks

The Winnipeg Jets are playing the Vancouver Canucks tonight in the second game of a back to back. There will be no lineup changes for the Jets. The Jets are coming off of a shootout win against the Calgary Flames where they successfully outplayed the Flames, but got goaltended. Meanwhile, the Vancouver Canucks are struggling through another bad season, but at least they have Jake Virtanen to save the. In all honesty, the young player to watch out for Brock Boeser who is heading to the All-Star Game for the Canucks.

The Canucks are coming off of a loss to the Edmonton Oilers last night and unlike the Jets, they did not outplay their adversaries. The Canucks are in a rebuild although they deny it. Meanwhile, the Jets have been built (you cannot build what has never been there). These are two teams at completely different points in their processes and it is unclear if the Canucks will ever become good again.
