Drafted in the first round, 8th overall, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers, Burmistrov has 101 points (37G, 64A) in 348 games for Atlanta/Winnipeg (2010/11-2012/13, 2015/16-partway through 2016/17), Arizona (part of 2016/17), and Vancouver (2017/18). Burmistrov has signed for the remainder of the season in Russia with the KHL’s Ak Bars Kazan.
