Michael Hutchinson should be traded to the Vegas Golden Knights

Is there a fit with the Jets and Golden Knights when it comes to the AHL goalie?

The Winnipeg Jets are reportedly taking calls on Michael Hutchinson and there is one team who really needs a goalie after they traded Calvin Pickard and then lost three goalies to injury. The Vegas Golden Knights. Already on their fourth-strong goalie, the Golden Knights need someone with some NHL experience who can fill in in a pinch. Enter Hutchinson.

While Hutchinson might not even be a NHL back-up, the Golden Knights are contemplating having to go to a junior goalie to be their backup in their next game. Hutchinson is better than that and if the Jets truly want to trade him, the price is probably not too steep for a team that wants to keep momentum going.

The Jets desire to move Hutchinson makes sense and the Golden Knights need for a goalie is becoming apparent. There should be a mutual fit for the teams if they can agree on the price. If they can, it makes sense to see Hutchinson on the move in the near future.
