Preview: Winnipeg Jets versus Carolina Hurricanes

The Winnipeg Jets have fought their way to .500 and are now facing the Carolina Hurricanes who have only played two games this year. The Jets seem to be rolling out the same lineup minus Adam Lowry who has an upper body injury with no word of their starting goalie yet.

The Jets are on a bit of a roll, but have been outplayed by their opposition in every game this year. They are still playing Brandon Tanev on the third line and insisting that Nic Petan is best on the fourth line.

Dustin Byfuglien is still out with injury as well, but Tucker Poolman has been a solid replacement with Tobias Enstrom. Joel Armia is also back in the lineup tonight. It will be interesting to see if the Jets will place Byfuglien on injured reserve, retroactive to a certain day, and then add a forward from the Manitoba Moose for safety reasons.

The game is on at 6:00 pm CT tonight as it is a Hockey Night in Canada game.
