Are the Jets for real? This is the question that’s been circling the hockey corner of the internet since Tuesday. That’s what happens when you blank the Chicago Blackhawks to improve their solid November record of 5-2-2. Tonight they face the Philadelphia Flyers who haven’t won since November 3rd. The two converging teams face off in what is expected to be an interesting matchup, well aside from the healthy scratch of offensive dynamo Shayne Gostisbehere.
I’m getting ready for tonight’s game by watching this:
Lineups:
Philadelphia Flyers:
Brayden Schenn - Claude Giroux - Wayne Simmonds
Travis Konecny - Sean Couturier - Jakub Voracek
Chris VandeVelde - Nick Cousins - Dale Weise
Michael Raffl - Pierre-Édouard Bellemare - Matt Read
Michael Del Zotto - Andrew MacDonald
Ivan Provorov - Mark Streit
Brandon Manning - Radko Gudas
Steve Mason
Anthony Stolarz
Winnipeg Jets:
Nikolaj Ehlers - Mark Scheifele - Patrik Laine
Marko Dano - Nic Petan - Blake Wheeler
Quinton Howden - Adam Lowry - Brandon Tanev
Chase De Leo - Andrew Copp - Chris Thorburn
Josh Morrissey - Dustin Byfuglien
Tyler Myers - Jacob Trouba
Ben Chiarot - Paul Postma
Connor Hellebuyck
Michael Hutchinson
Where to Watch:
6:00 CT on TSN3
Radio broadcast on TSN 1290
Who Do We Hate Tonight?:
Sean Couturier. Not because I dislike him or because #ShouldOfDrafted, but just to keep perpetuating the Scheifele/Couturier narrative.
Predictions:
Jets win 3-1.
Jets goals by Nikolaj Ehlers, Jacob Trouba, and Patrik Laine.
Flyers goal by Andrew MacDonald. Yep, that’s my guess.
What do you think about tonight's game? Excited for the Andrew MacDonald show? Think the Jets keep this momentum going? Let us know down in the comments below!
