GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs Colorado Avalanche

"You're going to make a difference. A lot of times it won't be huge, it won't be visible even. But it will matter just the same.". - Commissioner James Gordon (Batman)

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Holy hot sauce Batman!  In light of Chris Thorburn's super hero like speed and hands, the Winnipeg Jets are coming off an exciting 3-2 win against the Arizona Coyotes Saturday night.  Fun times!

The Colorado Avalanche however need an injection of something.  Coming off a 7-3 loss against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, the Avs are 3-3 on this roadtrip that wraps up tonight.  Scrapping the bottom of the NHL barrel, the injury riddled Avs need someone to step it up.

Player to watch:

The goalies.  Micheal Hutchinson has had a bit of a struggle this season, but now the number 1 job is his, after Ondrej Pavelec was placed on IR today with a pretty serious knee sprain that will keep him off the for a month or 2.  And Semyon Varlamov is coming off the IR today after missing 6 games with a groin injury.

Prediction:

Jets 5-1 with Copp, Lowry, Brumistrov, Ehlers and Scheifele all slicing and dicing the competition.
