Jekyll & Hyde’s Freehouse Contest: Blake Wheeler is better than Bobby Ryan edition

T_Bison wins! As of yet I'm unsure if he is related to M. Bison, but congratulations none the less. Mr. Bison correctly predicting that the Winnipeg Jets and New York Rangers would combine for 63 shots on goal.

Now it is time for us to hunt down for us to hunt down our next winner. The Jekyll and Hyde's Freehouse has asked us to give away another $50 gift certificate to their lovely establishment.

This week's contest will centre around the Winnipeg Jets Saturday matchup versus the Ottawa Senators. In honor of this we are calling this week's contest the Blake Wheeler is better than Bobby Ryan edition.

How to win (we are switching it up again):

Create an account, go to the comment section below and tell us who will open scoring for the Winnipeg Jets. Obviously, there may be some duplicate answers so we will once again be using tie breakers:

1) Who will score

2) Who will net the primary assist (unassisted is an option)

3) Period of play

If there is repetition beyond that, we will default to the first person with said answer. It is also important to note that number 2 and 3 are just tie breakers. If nobody gets all three correct, the first person to guess numbers 1 and 2 wins. If nobody guesses number 2 or 3 correctly, the first person to guess number 1 is the winner.

If you submit your guess and realize it is a duplicate, you are allowed to submit another guess. That is the only scenario in which you are allowed to submit a second guess.

Sounds pretty simple, right? Well, it is!

Important note!

Bobby Ryan isn't that good. He gets a lot of hype – more than most Winnipeg Jets, but he isn't all that special. Since the Jets returned to Winnipeg, Blake Wheeler has outscored him by 41 points. Andrew Ladd and Bryan Little have outscored him too. So has Dustin Byfuglien on a per game basis. Boo Bobby Ryan. Boo that man.

Thanks again to the Jekyll and Hyde's Freehouse for making these contests possible.

Go Jets Go!
