The Winnipeg Jets have shored up the grit for the upcoming season by signing RFA JC Lipon to a one year, 2 way contract, worth $650,000 at the NHL level.
Lipon had one assist with the Jets in nine contests last year, but had 13 goals and 17 assists with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL, the Winnipeg Jets farm team.
Lipon brings a ton of grit and tenacity to his game, and is a welcome re-sign to a AHL roster that is looking to improve on last year's forgettable first year in Winnipeg.
