Al Montoya suffers lower-body injury, replaced by Ondrej Pavelec to start third period versus the Philadelphia Flyers

Winnipeg Jets‘ goaltender Al Montoya has been pulled for the third period of tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers and replaced with Ondrej Pavelec, due to a lower-body injury.

Bare in mind that Montoya complained of cramping after Winnipeg’s 1-0 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Montoya was bumped twice during the second period, first knocked down by Jakub Voracek and again a few minutes later by Danny Briere.

We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
