This is May seventh’s game. The Winnipeg Jets were supposed to play a game against the Ottawa Senator’s in their second last game of the season, but in a desire to have more days open for the Vancouver Canucks to finish their schedule or something like that. Anyways, the Jets are now playing a one-off game against the Sens before they start their series against the Montreal Canadiens.

The Sens are coming off of a 6-3 win against the aforementioned Habs. They will be riding high on confidence which they have shown to be dangerous with in the past. But they are also the Sens and therefore woefully bad. As long as the Jets play reasonably well, this game should be a nothingburger.

As for the Jets, they are coming off of a shootout loss to the Leafs which considering the game they played before prior to last game, is a good outcome. There are still questions surrounding Blake Wheeler’s health which begs the question: is it better to play a good player well under 100% or sit him for a couple games and let him get some health back? O would think that letting him sit out is a far better option than playing someone hurt. Anyways.
