Does anyone feel thoroughly butt-kicked by November yet? Good news is we only have to survive nine more days. Anyways, while my butt is being kicked (but not sick), the Jets are playing hockey early tonight. So here is a preview that will act as a GDT because I decided to sleep last night.
The Winnipeg Jets are looking to continue their play as long as they ignore their last game against Pittsburgh. In other words, they want to return to their winning ways and not go on a losing streak. They will be playing against the Carolina Hurricanes who are a strong team who have about the same record of the Jets. The Jets will have their hands full though as the Canes have an interesting array of depth that they have built through smart drafting and trading.
The Jets are still going through it with injuries. Do not ask me about the lineup because of the whole “I am not even sure of days anymore” nature of November right now. They are dealing with some injuries up front and more on defence. They still have their goalies though and I am sure we are going to start seeing more of David Rittich as the Jets enter a period of more hockey.
