The Winnipeg Jets are back at it tonight with a 22 hour start time turnaround (thanks to Mike McIntyre for pointing this out) from last night’s game against the Calgary Flames. They will be looking to bounce back against the Seattle Kraken started the season off slow, but have been on a streak of late. They are also a team that is stronger on the road than at home. This could impact the game tonight.

The Kraken have not been playing first round pick Shane Wright very much with him only appearing in seven games due to healthy scratches. They have been putting together wins thanks to a team that is getting reasonable goaltending from their goalies and some run support from their forwards.

The Jets are looking to bounce back from a tough loss last night. I would assume that David Rittich will be starting tonight as Connor Hellebuyck played last night. The Jets will most likely be running the same lineup today which is a good thing because for the most part the Jets have shown that maximizing player usage with the players you have can lead to wins. The Jets are definitely missing Nikolaj Ehlers, but the fact they are not sinking right now is a major plus and one they should lean into. They can survive without him and will hopefully truly thrive with him. In other good news, it is just over a week until American Thanksgiving and the Jets are setting themselves up really well for the rest of the season.
