Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs. St. Louis Blues

Time: 7:00 PM CDT

Channel: TSN3

Radio: CJOB

The Winnipeg Jets and the St. Louis Blues are ready to play in their first of many divisional games tonight. They will be facing off in Winnipeg. The Blues have only played three games, but they are undefeated in those three games and are looking to extend that win streak tonight. The Jets are looking at getting back into the win column after a couple of tough losses including a hard fought game against the Toronto Maple Leads.

The Jets have been hampered by not being able to soar above how their roster has been constructed. The team needed a bigger overhaul on defence and that never happened. The forwards are flawed, but workable with the right usage and lines. That is still to be seen long term as the season has only started, but that seems to be on the right track.

The Jets will need to bring their A game like they do every night. They’ll have to be ready to go from the first whistle and keep their intensity throughout the game. The issue with the Jets this year has been that they cannot seem to keep a certain level of play the entire game. This game will be a test and it will be important to see how the Jets match up to their division rival.
