GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs Toronto Maple Leafs

Time: 6:00 PM CDT

Channel: CBC, CITY, Sportsnet

Radio: CJOB

The Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs will be playing tonight in Winnipeg. Hockey Night in Canada games mean weird start times, but at least people can go downtown for an early supper prior to the game. Outside of that, Leafs forward Wayne Simmons will make his season debut for the team and Ilya Samsonov will start as Matt Murray is injured. The Jets will be starting Connor Hellebuyck and Logan Stanley appears to remain in the lineup due to an injured Dylan Samberg. Nikolaj Ehlers remains out with an undisclosed injury and Rick Bowness is making his season debut behind the bench,
