The Winnipeg Jets are up 1-0 over the Edmonton Oilers. In a surprising turn of events, the team found a way to frustrate and knock McDavid off-balance while doing enough on the scoresheet to win. In tonight’s outing, though, the Jets will need to be sharper against the Oilers depth lines. I’m expecting a pissed off McDavid to show up to the rink, so Winnipeg needs to smash the non-McDavid lines in between. While winning 2 consecutive playoff games is always difficult, Winnipeg has a quality opportunity to put the pressure on Edmonton early. Let’s hope for gold stars!
