Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs. Montreal Canadiens

Time: 6:00 PM CST

Channel: TSN3

Radio: CJOB

The Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens are tangling for the last time this season. The Habs have seemingly been struggling since prior to firing Claude Julien, so expect a different kind of game then the one the Jets had on Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers. That said, on paper the Jets have a more balanced lineup than the Oilers and that did not help when they played.

With both teams struggling, it might just come down to goaltending and last I checked Carey Price has been out with a concussion for a while now and was sent back to Montreal for more treatment. This means that the Jets are most likely facing Jake Allen although Cayden Primeau could play and he can be equally strong. The Jets should win that match up either way.

As for the rest of the game: it really depends on who shows up for each team. Jonathan Drouin is not available for the Habs after he was given a leave of absence by the team and placed on LTIR for something. They are also without Brendan Gallagher who has a broken finger. Meanwhile, the Jets will be without Nikolaj Ehlers (shoulder) and Adam Lowry (concussion).
