Preview and GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs. Edmonton Oilers

Time: 8:00 PM CST

Channel: TSN3

Radio: CJOB

The Winnipeg Jets are in very unfamiliar waters. They’re down star winger Nikolaj Ehlers and 3C anchor Adam Lowry. As a result, the entire line-up has been thrown into the blender. The forward combos are….curious. The defense, while largely unchanged, will see the return of Jordie Benn to action. Yay?

The Oilers are a squad that seems to have found the perfect recipe to stifle Winnipeg. Maurice keeps falling into Tippett’s trap every single game now. Is this the night the Jets finally break free of a largely AHL-caliber roster? I hope so! This Oilers squad is the likely first round playoff opponent in a couple of weeks. Solving them now would certainly be ideal…
