The Winnipeg Jets got their butts handed to them by the Toronto Maple Leafs which means today’s game is the perfect day for a bounce back before the Jets get an unexpected break because the Vancouver Canucks are dealing with multiple players and coaches with COVD-19. We wish them all the best in their illnesses with only positive outcomes.

As for the Jets tonight: it looks like Blake Wheeler is back as he is partaking in the normal group at the morning skate. That’s a good sign. Seems like Derek Forbort will also remain in the lineup meaning that Paul Maurice can continue playing the same lineup even if changing it up would benefit his team in the short and long run.

The Jets need to be better. They need to come out ready to elevate their game and play far better with far more purpose than they did on Wednesday. They have to be ready to earn their win again because Toronto is not Calgary and they cannot sleep through a period with them and expect to leave with a win. And they get a few days off after so they can go all out tonight.
