The Winnipeg Jets are going to want to play better tonight against the Montreal Canadiens because if they start being able to score on Connor Hellebuyck it could easily be game over for the Jets. No word on which goalies are starting tonight for both teams.

If you feel like we talk a lot about how the Jets need to play full games, that is all we talk about. It is. The Jets are bad at playing for 60 minutes a night and it shows in how they frustrate fans. They could be a better team than they are if they could only put together full games. It is something that might actually be indicative of the coaching, but I don’t know if that is fully on Maurice.

As for the Habs: they have been an odd team for the past couple years where they play genuinely good hockey and get burned on special teams. The fact that they look like they are starting to figure it out should scare others. Not because they will become globe trotters, but because they have a lot of the attributes of a good team that has not put it together. Tonight we will see if they will keep on progressing or no.
