Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Vancounver Canucks

Time: 7:00 PM CST

Channel: TSN3

Radio: CJOB680/Power97

After the Winnipeg Jets snuck out with a win in overtime, they are looking to redeem themselves in their series against the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks are bad. The Jets are not bad, just unable to play up to their potential every game. There is a difference and tonight will hopefully be a chance for the Jets to prove the difference between a bad team and a flawed team. A bad team can be hard to redeem while a flawed team can be a bowl of frustrating fun.

The Jets are looking to bounce back from two uninspired performances in a row to try and get something going. After letting in three goals last game, expect Connor Hellebuyck to get a rest tonight. Not because of his performance, but because it is a back-to-back set of games and Laurent Brossoit is a capable backup.

The Canucks seemed to make a honest effort last night and it was started thanks to three goals in the first period. They were able to continuously work hard throughout the game and keep the Jets from mounting a comeback. Thankfully the Jets know that their effort has not been there the past couple of games and they are looking to make a return to form. So here is to two good periods.
