The Winnipeg Jets wrap up their series against the Toronto Maple Leafs and this is the game is the game that will establish superiority or something like that. The Jets won the first game by playing surprisingly well and went to overtime in the second game thanks to Connor Hellebuyck doing Hellebuyck things.

The Jets need to be better and I am starting to feel like a broken record saying it. The issue is they have been getting results doing the things they always do, so asking them to be better is like asking someone to study for a test when they can glide right through without studying and get good marks: at some point that does not work and you need to study for the test. It’s harder to start studying because you are changing a habit vs. continue a developed habit.

The Leafs are a team with a formidable offence and it shows. They’ve spent a fair amount of money up front and their offence just goes. However, they are weak in goal with year with Frederick Andersen not being good. What does that mean? Well, because I have said that it means tonight he will get a shut out, but it actually means that they Leafs are vulnerable if you are able to get shots on goal.

This game could go either way for the Jets. If Hellebuyck is on and the Jets get their shots in, it could end rather nicely for them.
