Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks reassigned goaltender Anthony Stolarz, centre Isac Lundestrom, and defenceman Kodie Curran to AHL San Diego.

Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes made no moves this week.

Boston Bruins

The Bruins made no moves his week.

Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres made no moves his week.

Defenceman Casey Nelson has retired from pro hockey. Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2016 by the Buffalo Sabres, Nelson had 18 points (4G, 14A) in 93 games for Buffalo from 2015/16 to 2018/19. Nelson’s career highs are three goals and eight points in 2018 with Buffalo, and five assists in 2018 and 2019 with Buffalo. He finished his last NHL season with six points (1G, 5A) in 38 games for Buffalo as well as one point in five games for AHL Rochester. Nelson finished his final pro season with 12 points in 48 games for AHL Rochester.

Calgary Flames

The Flames signed right winger Brett Ritchie to a one-year contract. They signed defenceman Michael Stone to a one-year contract. They reassigned Ritchie to AHL Stockton. They reassigned goaltender Artyom Zagidulin.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes reassigned right winger Dominik Bokk to AHL Chicago.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks placed defenceman Nick Seeler on unconditional waivers.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche acquired defenceman Greg Pateryn from Minnesota. They signed goaltender Peyton Jones to a one-year contract. They recalled defenceman Bowen Byram from AHL Colorado and reassigned centre Shane Bowers and right winger Logan O’Connor.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets made no moves this week.

Defenceman Adam McQuaid has retired from pro hockey. Drafted in the second round, 55th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets, McQuaid has 73 points (16G, 57A) in 512 games, as well as 11 points (3G, 8A) in 68 playoff games, for Boston (2009/10-2017/18), the New York Rangers (part of 2018/19), and Columbus (part of 2018/19). He managed to crack the NHL roster during the last years where physical hard-nosed defencemen with minimal skill were still unquestioningly valuable, and as a result was able to carve out a solid decade-long NHL career, winning a Stanley Cup in 2011 with the Boston Bruins. McQuaid has career highs of 12 assists and 15 points, both in 2011 with Boston, as well as three goals in 2011 with Boston and 2019 with Columbus. McQuaid finished his last NHL season, and professional season in general, in 2018/19 with seven points (3G, 4A) in 50 games for the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets, the first games he played for his draft team. McQuaid, 34, missed the final 15 games of the 2018/19 season and the entire postseason after sustaining a herniated disk in his neck, and wound up not playing again due to that.

Dallas Stars

The Stars reassigned centres Riley Damiani and Tye Felhaber; left wingers Adam Mascherin and Riley Tufte; and defencemen Joseph Cecconi, Ben Gleason, Jerad Rosburg, and Ryan Shea.

Detroit Red Wings

The Red Wings made no moves this week. Defenceman Madison Bowey has signed a professional tryout contract with AHL San Diego.

Edmonton Oilers

The Oilers claimed goaltender Troy Grosenick off waivers from Los Angeles. They reassigned centre Ryan McLeod to AHL Bakersfield.

Florida Panthers

The Panthers reassigned defenceman Alec Rauhauser to AHL Syracuse. They reassigned goaltender Sam Montembeault.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings reassigned defenceman Austin Strand to AHL Ontario. They reassigned defenceman Tobias Bjornfot and recalled defenceman Mark Alt. Centre Tim Schaller has signed a professional tryout contract with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Minnesota Wild

The Wild acquired defenceman Ian Cole from Colorado.

Montreal Canadiens

The Canadiens reassigned centres Cameron Hillis and Hayden Verbeek; left wingers Michael Pezzetta, Arsen Khisamutdinov; right winger Jesse Ylonen; defencemen Josh Brook and Kaiden Guhle to AHL Laval.

Nashville Predators

The Predators reassigned defenceman Alexandre Carrier to AHL Chicago.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils claimed goaltender Aaron Dell off waivers from Toronto.

New York Islanders

The Islanders loaned right winger Joshua Ho-Sang to the SHL’s Orebro HK.

New York Rangers

The Rangers made no moves his week.

Ottawa Senators

The Senators made no moves this week.

Philadelphia Flyers

The Flyers reassigned centre Tanner Laczynski to AHL Lehigh Valley.
