Last night the out of town scoreboard did what the Winnipeg Jets needed it to do. Tonight the Winnipeg Jets will need to do what they need to do against the Arizona Coyotes to keep themselves in the playoff race. Winning is always the goal, but it is especially the goal when you are in a playoff race and cannot afford mistake.
The Jets did their job and did it well against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Coyotes and Jets are virtually the same team with the Jets being slightly better overall. They also have a better record in the last ten games with the Coyotes being a .500 team over that span.
The Jets will have to be on their toes and ready for anything. They did a great job on Friday night when they faced off against the Golden Knights and were able to push the pace of play long enough to build a 3-0 lead. The Jets can push play and rise up to playing a better team. They should be able to do that with the Coyotes as well which would be a real gift for them.
