The Winnipeg Jets are playing their divisional rivals the Minnesota Wild in a game that could have playoff implications down the road. The Jets have been struggling of late and it needs to be acknowledged. They are closer to the team that they should have been at the beginning of the season with Connor Hellebuyck no longer playing exceptionally well. In short, they are now what we thought they were.
The Wild are the Wild. They are boring, they make other teams boring, and they sometimes win. It is not like when they used to win the division all the time or anything, but it is not fun either way. They will once again play a low-event game and attempt to put everyone to sleep before the pounce.
