Preview: Winnipeg Jets vs Boston Bruins

Time: 7:00 PM CST

Channel: TSN3

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets are back from their break and I am back from being sick. They will be playing the Boston Bruins tonight at home. The Jets are starting to get players back to health and all the players are hopefully well rested and ready to go tonight. They will hopefully suffer no ill effects to the long break and be able to jump back into playing form.

The Jets will probably start Connor Hellebuyck in net. Hellebuyck has played a majority of the games this season with backup Laurent Brossoit rarely giving him a night off even when his play has slipped. Hopefully this break was what Hellebuyck needed and he will be back to his early season form and more importantly the Jets defence will have tightened up a bit and be able to handle the Bruins forwards.

The Bruins are a team with a good goalie and a wicked set of forwards. Their offence is incredibly good and it comes down to players like David Pastranak and Brad Marchand who are both really good at what they do. Even as Patrice Bergergon has gotten older, he is still able to play a solid two-way game.

The Jets will be in tough tonight as they have been almost every night recently. It will probably be hard for them to play to the Bruins level and they will probably look like they are chasing them around the ice. But it is what it is and we can only hope it looks better than before the break.

Prediction

Connor Hellebuyck starts and plays amazing.
